Pink-sided Junco
  Junco hyemalis

* A form of the Dark-eyed Junco. The Pink-sided form breeds in Idaho and Montana but is a common winter visitor.

* Prefers forests, open woodlands, and brushy areas.

* Scratches in litter with both feet. When disturbed it will fly to the lower branches of trees.

* Easily identified by pinkish-cinnamon sides and pearly gray hood and neck with black mask.
