Butter and Eggs (Toadflax, Wild Snapdragon)
  Linaria vulgaris

* Short-lived perennial introduced from Europe as an ornamental.

* Attractive but invasive in many areas. Probably the one attractive wildflower that can be picked since there is no fear of its extinction.

* Blooms all summer.

* Flowers heavily perfumed.

* Spreading underground roots make control difficult.
