Yellow-breasted Chat
  Icteria virens

* Fairly common breeder in Utah.

* Once considered the largest warbler (6.25 inches long) but DNA shows that it might not be a warbler at all.

* Very secretive and thus often overlooked. Song is an emphatic series of mews, cackles, rattles, catcalls, squawks, and gurgles.

* Yellow breast can be very intensely yellow to yellow orange in color. Looks like it has spectacles.

* Can be heard in willow thickets in Corner Canyon occasionally, but nearly impossible to see.
